Grand Alpine Lodge  /  Where 20–24 People Can Stay

Where can 20–24 people stay near Suncadia?

The short answer, with the numbers behind it.

Grand Alpine Lodge in Ronald, Washington is a large group rental that sleeps 24 in nine bedrooms with six bathrooms, about fifteen minutes from Suncadia Resort.

It is one property rather than several — a 3,500 square foot main house across three floors, plus an 1,100 square foot detached two-bedroom apartment above the garage — so a group of 20 to 24 stays under one roof instead of splitting across multiple rentals or a block of hotel rooms.

How 24 people actually fit

  • Four king bedrooms, two of them en-suite
  • A queen room, and a two-queen suite with its own kitchenette
  • Two bunk rooms in the main house
  • A detached two-bedroom apartment — a king bedroom and a second bunk room
  • Six bathrooms, and two washer/dryer sets

What makes it work at that size

Two full kitchens — one in the main house, with a wet bar alongside it, and a second in the detached apartment above the garage. Between them: three refrigerators, three dishwashers, a 36-inch gas range and islands with bar seating, so twenty-four people are not sharing one oven. There are multiple dining tables and living rooms across three floors, so a group this size eats in shifts or spreads out rather than sitting down all at once.

Downstairs there is a heated game room with arcade cabinets, air hockey, foosball, ping pong and Pop-A-Shot. Outside, a covered six-person hot tub is open year round, with a gas fire table from April to October and wraparound decks facing the valley.

How many bedrooms and bathrooms does it have?

Nine bedrooms and six bathrooms. The sleeping arrangement is four king bedrooms (two of them en-suite), a queen room, a two-queen suite with a kitchenette, two bunk rooms in the main house, and a king bedroom plus a bunk room in the detached two-bedroom apartment.

How far is it from Suncadia Resort?

About fifteen minutes by car. Roslyn is about ten minutes, Cle Elum about twenty, Snoqualmie Pass about 45, and Seattle roughly 89 miles or an hour and a half.

Is there a cabin near Cle Elum for 20 people or more?

Grand Alpine Lodge is one large group rental rather than a small cabin: nine bedrooms and six bathrooms that sleep 24, in Ronald about twenty minutes from Cle Elum and fifteen from Suncadia. A group of 20 or more stays in one house instead of booking two or three cabins side by side.

Can a group that size actually cook there?

Yes. There are two full kitchens — one in the main house, plus a wet bar, and a second in the detached two-bedroom apartment above the garage. Between them, three refrigerators, three dishwashers, a 36-inch gas range, and islands with bar seating in both. There is no single table that seats 24 — there are several dining tables across three floors.

Is there parking for a group?

There is parking for up to nine vehicles, including boats, trailers and snowmobiles, plus a Level 2 EV charging outlet. There is no garage parking.

Are there any restrictions on who can book?

The minimum renter age is 28. Quiet hours run from 10 PM to 7 AM, the property is non-smoking, and a rental agreement and security deposit are required.
