Two rental shops sit right down the hill, a few doors apart on the same road. In winter that is the whole trip: pick up snowmobiles in the morning, ride from town, and be back in the hot tub by dark. In summer it is electric mountain bikes and boats — and one of them will run the boat down to the lake for you.
Snowmobiles all winter, electric ones included. Come summer, the same shop rents 1000-watt electric mountain bikes, Sea-Doos, kayaks, paddleboards and pontoons seating up to fourteen — and they will deliver the boat to most local lakes. General store attached for whatever got left at home — and it’s less than half a mile from the driveway.

Snowmobiles through the winter; pontoons, jet skis, kayaks, canoes and paddleboards by the half-day or the full day once the lake opens up. Speelyi Beach is a five-minute drive from the driveway.
